Jenny Johansson

Director of Teacher Education

Biography

Jenny Johansson is the Director of Teacher Education. She assists in the management of activities related to student progress through the teacher education programs, accreditation of the Education Preparation Provider, and maintenance of division data. She also teaches Instructional Practices in Literacy for education majors. She received a BA in Multi-categorical Special Education from Columbia College and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction of Literacy Education from Lesley University in Massachusetts. Prior to coming to Columbia College in 2018, she taught special education in a variety of settings in grades K-12.  

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, running, and going to the beach to collect shark’s teeth.
